I’m Jason Ushaw, a Legal Advocate specialising in Employment Law. I can help people navigate workplace issues with clarity, fairness, and respect – whether they’re dealing with disputes, unfair treatment, or seeking practical advice on their work rights and obligations at work.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (BA) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Otago University and completed my professional training through the College of Law.
My background in philosophy taught me to think critically and ethically, while my legal training gave me the tools to advocate effectively for my clients.
I am 44. I bring a grounded, real-world approach to my work, combining legal knowledge with empathy, communication and common sense. My goal is to make the law accessible and to ensure every client feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their legal journey.
